Building Great Relationships is Key to Joy

Having been on both sides of the fence, I have to say I would greatly prefer being married to being single, and having a family to not having a family. Alone is just not all it is cracked up to be. Sure, there are lots of happy single people. I was a reasonably happy single person. But I'm happier married.

One of Steve's favorite sayings is "you can't do what you haven't seen", and that really applies well to dating, marriage, and family relationships. Some of us have seen precious little from our own families and friends that we would want to emulate. How can we go about building great relationships on a solid foundation that will continue to bring joy to all involved? That's a question with no short answer. Fortunately, answering the question is the very thing that brings the joy we seek!

Steve and I are working to weed through the various dating sites and online relationship publications so we can put good information up here. In the meantime, please go ahead and take a look at our page on Great Expectations. That's where the two of us met way back at the end of 1989. We can highly recommend them as they screen their people and help each client get the most out of their membership. It is not just an online screen and a chat room setup. These are real people with a real sense of commitment to their jobs.
