   You sound like a great boss! How about making some suitcases (could be cardboard or cheap toy ones) and putting cash inside similar to Deal or No Deal. When they make a sale or a 'deal'..they may choose a case. You could offer them $ for the case or they may keep it. Everyone could watch as they open the case with 10 cents or $100! Ha! Good luck!

   I find that it almost always pays off to "kill em with kindness" the ruder customers are the nicer I get…like you could say, Oh, I'm so sorry…I didn't hear you…I'll be right with you as soon as I finish here.

   I am a checker at a grocery store and have been a waitress so I've had more than my share of rude people to deal with. Remember you can be thinking to yourself how incredibly rude they are but they tend to back off if you act super nice!
