What is the total possible number of bingo cards can you produce using the regular bingo numbers?
Produce X amount of bingo cards using the regular bingo cards numbers, B=1to15,I=16-30,N=31-45,G=46-60 and O=61-75. (Note:in this case, there is no free spot or squre in the middle of the bingo card under "N".)
You are basically picking out a set of 5 random numbers for each letter B,I,N,G & O. So there will be a total of 25 random numbers picked between 1-75 numbers to produce a bingo card. Say after you have done this, it is your first bingo card. How many more of these cards can you produce without duplicating the same exact card. The order of numbers under each letter doesn't matter. What matter is no 2 cards have the same exact 25 numbers regardless of the orders of numbers.
B = 1 to 15, I = 16 - 30, N = 31 - 45, G = 46 - 60 and O = 61 - 75
The 5 random numbers for B may be selected in 15C5 ways
= 15! / (10! * 5!)
= 3003 ways
Each letter has the same number of ways for its 5 numbers to be chosen
Hence
The total number of different cards will be 3003^5 (minus one for the card you already have)
